5 Tips To Help You Think Positively. Take Control Of What You Think. Don't Let Your Negative Thoughts Get You Down!

5 TIPS TO HELP YOU TAKE CONTROL OF NEGATIVES THOUGHTS!

5 Tips To Help Your Think Positively. Take Control Of What You Think. Don't Let Your Negative Thoughts Get You Down!

Do you often feel overwhelmed and out of control? When we become frustrated with our endeavours  we frequently become overwhelmed and do not know where to start. It's important to practice positive thinking, as this can lead to you being more productive and feeling better about your goals and expectations. It's important to spend more time making progress and less time feeling down and stuck. The following tips provide practical suggestions that you can use to help you shift into a more positive thinking pattern. I do hope they help. I will post some more all this week!

Big smiles, please. Be Positive!

1. Your body is a temple so take good care of it.
When you are eating well and exercising as well as getting adequate sleep, it is much easier to be positive. Read how to make exercise less boring!

2. What is good in you life? Keep telling yourself about all the wonderful things that are good in your life. Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in your life. Taking just one minute  a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Stop IT, stop it now! Stop making assumptions about things. Look for proof.
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your work colleagues are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Stop staying that they always do this and always do that.
Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me?'' Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

5. Stay away from those negative thoughts and be more positive.
Don't let your negative thoughts have power over you. If you start to think negatively, detach yourself from those thoughts and make an effort to think of the positives and not the negatives.

Have a lovely positive day.

FREE TIPS! What Are You Going To Get Done Today? How's Your Time Management Skills? Have You Remembered Mothering Sunday! 6th March - This year!!

Managing time skills

If you manage your time right you will have more time to spend doing the activities you like. This will help reduce unnecessary stress. You will also find that your productivity increases. Think ahead. Is there a special day coming up?

Prioritise your time so you get what you need in advance and have all the things you need for a task in advance. Don't forget Mothering Sunday next week - UK 6th March - THIS YEAR!! Have you forgotten someone's birthday? Did you get the milk in!

Here are a few tips on how to manage your time successfully:

· Gain more time by concentrating and focusing on task at hand. If needed, delegate tasks that you cannot do. Schedule in time for yourself. I am guilty of not scheduling time for myself. Are you?

· How do you spend your time? Do you even know? Keep a track of what you do. If it is unbalanced, then change it.

· You can prioritise your time by ranking task in order of priority. Give time to those things in life that you find important or mean something to you.

· Under commit yourself. Don't over commit. If you think you can do something by Wednesday, say you will do it by Thursday. If you feel you can do a certain quantity of work, state you will do less than that. That way, you relieve the stress and will always feel a sense of a achievement.

· Don't procrastinate. Plan your day. Divide the day into small projects that you feel you can manage. If they flow over to the next day ... so be it! Give yourself short term deadlines and long term deadlines.

Watching your muscles and body work could make exercise less boring! Come on, work with me here. You want to make exercise less boring, don't you? You will also sleep better!

Exercise is even more boring if you do not have a goal. If you have a goal to be fitter, healthy or even to fit into an item of clothing, all this can help you motivate yourself to go on. Exercise makes you glow as it improves blood circulation, so just think about how great you will look after exercise.

When you are training focus on the part of your body or the muscles that you wan to improve.
Research has shown that this may actually help your body to respond better and even if it does not at least the time will go by quicker! So, a little bit of muscle watching is what is needed when you do your training. This can work when you are doing weights or doing any other type of exercise.

By keeping up your physical activity during the day,
you may find it easier to deal with the stress and worries of your life.

Also think about it this way, for those of you who find it difficult to sleep at night, the amount of physical exercise that you exert during the day is one of the key ingredients to helping you
get a good sleep at night.  The more active your body is during the day, the more likely you are to
relax at night and fall asleep faster. With regular exercise you'll notice that your quality of sleep is improved and the transition between the cycles and phases of sleep will become smoother and
more regular.  By keeping up your physical activity during the day, you may find it easier to deal with the stress and worries of your life.

Have fun! I hope I have made doing exercise a little less boring.

Who Needs Exercise When It's Cold and Raining Outside? Sit At Home Exercise and Do No Exercise. Sounds Good!!

Who Needs Exercise When It's Cold and Raining Outside?  Sit At Home Exercise and Do No Exercise. Sounds Good!!

Subscribe by email to get the tips delivered straight to your email!

It can be so difficult to motivate yourself to even leave the house on cold , wet days. But exercise we must in order to keep fit and healthy, well so I hear!  Yes, okay I know it's true. Yesterday, I posted my first tip on motivation for exercise.  Here are a few tips for  today to help you out.

Put on some music and just dance!!!

Try something different. Don't get into the routine of doing the same thing everyday. Why not visit another gym?  Just for the day. If that's not possible, try and use a different piece of equipment. If you have the equipment at home, such as an exercise bike, why not just stay at home and use that piece of equipment. Why not, if you get to the gym,  try mixing things up - reverse your routine or just change the order of your exercises.  Add walking around the house and doing a bit of housework and you have a complete workout.  Dance. Put on some music and just dance!

If it's not a cold day and not raining, why not go to your local park and use the slide, climb on the monkey bars, do pull-ups. Just let your imagination guide you.  If you have children, take them with you - this allows you to even have more fun as you can pretend you have to do as your child needs the exercise.  Plus, what a good parent you are taking your kids out. See, a win-win situation for all!

You don't always need to follow a strict routine, just get out there and have fun working out and getting more exercise in.  More tips tomorrow.

The next few post are about ways to make exercise fun. I am seriously in need of this post! How can we stay motivated and keep exercising? Check them out!

The next few post are about ways to make exercise fun. Fun, Fun and more Fun! Is that even possible?  I am seriously in need of this post! Sometimes the idea of waking up with the thought of going to the gym doing my treadmill walk and then lifting my weights does not fill me with joy. Recently it has become more of a chore and I use every excuse to as to why I cannot go today: my ankle hurts, my tummy hurts, my finger hurts, can the soles of your feet hurt!!

Sometimes it is just difficult to stay motivated to exercise on a regular basis, but we all know it must be done. Even though it can be boring! But we have to find a way to go on, as we know we cannot stop. So I have been looking into ways of making exercise a bit more fun. I will share what I have found with you over the next few blog posts.

This card is inspired by a student that always find the time
and energy to attend her Judo classes, plus win competitions !

The first thing that you can do is go with a friend! Yes, a friend, your partner or just grab a passer-by ( okay , don't do the last one!)  You can challenge each other, help each other out, keep each other motivated and on track, make each other laugh or just make a game out of your exercise
programs. Just try to stay focused and even if you talk, make sure you are working out and talking. There is no problem with talking, however if you can constantly talk and don't feel a lack of breath then you are probably not working out hard enough!
Check back tomorrow for some more great tips on how to keep motivated to exercise. Enjoy your day and do some exercise. I will try , I promise!  Tomorrow your face and exercise - check back!

Follow via email so you don't miss out!

If you have any tips, no matter how small do share them below, as I think at some point in time we all will need them!

Innovation can only work if you have passion in your bed. Do you have passion for innovation in your bed? If no, find it!

No passion , no innovation. Nothing in life can work out  without passion. Do you have a strong passion to succeed? Then you will reach your goal if you plan and keep that passion going.
Nothing will work without passion.

What makes you jump out of bed and ready for the next project? What keeps you going, even when things seem not to be worth it or a waste of energy and time? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you'll die if you don't do?

Sometimes people with talent and innovation  are overtaken by other people, just because the other people want it more. Not because they are more talented. How much do you want it? The hare wanted it but the tortoise got it! Do you really want to do what you are doing or are you just paying it lip service. How committed are you to your innovation and ultimate success? When you want something badly then nothing will stop you to reach that goal. No matter what, you will still keep going. This is what passion is about and this is what successful innovation needs. Now go forth and have passion!

That is the last on my series on innovation. Hope it keeps you being passionate and innovative for years to come!

Innovation with exercise! To be innovative you need a clear mind. Let your body control your innovation by moving!

To be innovative you need a clear mind.  Take a long stroll. Take a short run. Jog for a little. Any form of exercise, as long as you are not overdoing it, is great.  Exercise is a wonderful way to bring those creative thoughts to the surface. You will be amazed at how clear your mind is after exercise. It's also great for the body!

I thought, I would love to make a simple drink.
A simple recipe for a fantastic birthday!

Find your own  style. You can tell a Van Gogh from Matisse. You know what Hemingway wrote by the selection of words used. Now apply that to yourself. You are unique and let your uniqueness stand out, be yourself. You will find that your uniqueness and innovation will be appreciated because it is you and your way of thinking. You are a valuable asset and if you start to take the lead, others will look at what you are doing and be inspired and impressed.

Be Innovative. Follow The Beat of Your Own Drum. Don't just Listen to what everyone says. Think for yourself and let your reality take shape according to your rules!

Post 3 on innovation

I know it is not easy but stop listening to everyone because you are liable not to make any progress. Stop listening to negativity and get on with it. Follow your own rhythm and fine tune it until it is just right. Then constantly review it and establish how changes or adjustments can help you. If you try to spend all your time explaining and justifying your original idea to everyone, then you are liable to leave it by the roadside and drive on. If our ancestors had listened to their peers, then many of the  achievements of the  last two centuries would have come to nothing. Take the chance, a calculated chance.  My line of cards are definitely not the norm, but I believe in them and so I have to follow the beat of my own drum!

Innovation - be different , think different!

Spend time cultivating and nurturing  your idea. Do not just think it will happen overnight. It will take time. But keep at it everyday and your small steps will pay off, as time goes by. Management of  your time is so important -  this is the key to successfully sticking to and completing any tasks. Check back for more great tips tomorrow.

What is innovation like? Can I learn it? Touch It? Will it take time or can it be done in an hour!

Post 2 on innovation

Nothing limits you. The box of  drawing pens and paints in the shop is not limited to those who possess potential - the innovation! Everyone has potential of some sort, no matter how small.

It took me forever to learn to drive, take my test and pass it. It took me a while to learn from some mistakes and force myself not to commit the same mistakes again and again.  It takes some of my students days and weeks to understand the equation below, simultaneous equation, but once they get it, there is no turning back!  There is no stopping them. This inspired me to design the card below. I wanted to demystify this equation. This is what innovation is like. It takes time and nurturing to get it right. It takes practise and perseverance. But once you have it, you can use this new mind-set to change whatever you want and do and try things you never thought possible.

News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news we hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do.
