Sleep your way to a healthy body and mind. Sleep makes you exercise more and brings extra energy to your body and mind. Have a good sleep tonight!


Sleep and be fit

 

There are so many great things to see and do all over the world ,in whatever country you are in. We were not designed to slumber from bed, to breakfast, onto public transport, to office chair, to a restaurant and then back to our couch and then to bed! We were designed to be off our bottoms and moving! This continuous cycle makes us overeat and gain weight which all them makes us lead a sedentary lifestyle.

Unfortunately, most of us have a life that keeps us jailed to a chair or other sedentary obligations. Exercise is something that is added to our daily schedule instead of just happening as a matter of nature.

Health problems, according to diet experts, in adults and children do not only occur due to overeating, but due to the lack of activity in our daily lives. This is why it is so important for us to move around and be active. For you to  stay fit and healthy and ready to enjoy all the things to do with your family and friends, it is vital that you maintain an active life.

In in order to lose and maintain weight it is important to change your lifestyle and not just schedule the sporadic exercise occasionally. You need to be persistent and consistent. If you exercise and do not change your diet then you will find that you maintain your weight and sometimes even gain weight, as exercise can make you hungry!

Exercise needs to be part of your daily life and not just an add on now and then when the mood takes you.  You should not think of it as exercise but the necessary actions that are needed to stay healthy and part of an overall healthy lifestyle. You need to sustain it so it should fit into what you do in your life and how you live. The four things listed below will give you a start on your way to keeping  active and fit, help you to enjoy life to the full and participate in all the various wonderful things to in London:

1. Quality sleep is vital to remain fit and healthy
If you are tired or fatigued you are less likely to want to get up and move around in the day. Take control  of your sleep and this will give you energy in the day to do all the wonderful activities that lack of sleep make you miss out on. If you are sitting around because you are tired you will tend to eat more as a way of passing the time, thus quality sleep is important.

2. Walk the walk
Walking is a wonderful thing to do. London has some wonderful attraction to visit. Walking is one of the healthiest and stress free activities that really does promote a healthy body and mind. Start with just 10 minutes over a five day period and then build it up to 30 minutes a day. Walk bristly and happily! Walk with a friend and have a chat, but keep up the pace. Why don’t you try walking in your garden?

3. Walk the treadmill
The weather can limit the amount of walking you can do. If you have space, invest in a treadmill. Watch TV and walk ! One of the things I like about indoor gym equipment is that I can watch a bit of TV but still get the health benefits of a workout.

4.  Don’t put off what you can do today
Don’t put off exercise because of some of other issues. Make the activity something that will fit in with your lifestyle. That way you are more inclined to stick with it. Don’t come up with excuses as to why you cannot do it. Instead, make sure you put everything in place to ensure that you will be able to fulfil your healthy option and exercise pan.

Remember your health and fitness is a wonderful gift to your family; the fitter you are the more active you will be as a family member and the more things you can do.
